Now for the hard part, if you have read what I had to say about the Porsche museum you might know what I’m talking about. Part two of my trip to Stuttgart was a trip to the Mercedes Benz Museum, all nine floors of it. I gained huge respect for Mercedes on my afternoon at the museum not only that I think I fell in love with the brand.
On the 9th of December I turned another year older. To celebrate I went to Germany to indulge my inner obsession, cars. In particular Porsche with a trip to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. I can now say I am totally obsessed.
BMW is finally embracing the even number, after years of 1, 3, 5 and 7 Series. 6 years after its release the 1 Series coupe has been killed off to make way for the new baby coupe in the range, the 2 Series. Basically all BM’s new two doors will be even numbered while the rest of the family will remain odds. So what is new with the 2?

Picking a new car, one of lifes great events surely? Picking a brand, a model, an engine, a colour and all the optional extra’s you want is a bit like the adult equivalent of an 8 year old with a gift voucher for Toy R Us. So you would imagine that someone like myself who writes about cars all day long and advises others what to spend their cash on would find it easy to pick a new car, right? Wrong.
