I’ve been working from home for the past three years and I’ve been slowly developing my office to be an inspiration, exciting space to be in. You’ve no doubt all seen my office over on YouTube as it’s the location for my rant videos but I wanted to give you a bit more of a tour.
My Mustang and Camaro prints are by the infinitely talented Ian Cook who is also known as PopBangColour. He paints with cars and this distinctive style makes me weak at the knees. These prints are in desperate need of frames so they can take up a more prominent place in the office.
The T8 plate
This plate comes from Number1Plates and is often seen in the background of videos. I need to affix it to the wall properly but I haven’t quite worked out the best way to do that just yet. The plate isn’t quite printed straight which really annoys me, so it needs to occupy a space that’s not quite in my eye line!
Some of you might know that I’m a fan of The Darkness. When I was a teenager I followed the band everywhere, met some amazing people and got to rock out on regular occasions. The collages above the number plate are reminders of those fantastic times.
The collage on the right is a collection of business cards and postcards I’ve collected from events and shows. Some of these are so beautiful that I thought it’d be a shame to tidy them away in a drawer.
This cycles on a regular basis. It’s usually either an Abarth, muscle car or Rebecca Jackson’s Porsche.
I also have a very busy pinboard to the right of my desk that’s full of signed CD sleeves, pictures of cars, documents that need dealing with, and some pretty photos.
What does your office look like?
