This has to be, by far, the most beautiful of the cars launched so far for the 2013 F1 season. The new grey livery is just stunning. Although Sauber had one of the most successful seasons in its history in 2012, they’re starting afresh with new drivers: Esteban Gutierrez and Nico Hulkenberg.

Team Principal Monisha Kaltenborn said of the C32: “I’m very excited, but also a little tense. The aim is very clear and simple: we want to continue to improve ourselves.

“The Sauber C32 is based on its predecessor, which was a very competitive car.

“It had a lot of strengths and some weaknesses, and our engineers have worked to build on those strengths and eliminate the weaknesses.”

Obviously.

I’m quite excited for Sauber in 2013. I’ve said since Hulkenberg’s first season in the sport that he was going to be brilliant (I felt stupid when he didn’t have a drive the following year so I’m glad it looks like he’s going to be around for a while).
