This is my car. My beloved Abarth. It's taken me this long to get a review done because I wanted it to be perfect. The chance came to feature the car in the latest episode of Road Trip on Cambridge TV so it now finally makes sense to do this review.
I love a hot hatch and I seem to get my hands on red ones on a regular basis. For some reason, to me, Kia seems like an unlikely brand to make a hot hatch but I'd heard good things. As it turns out, this is a very rapid all-rounder (despite its very silly name).
I've wanted to get my hands on this car for a while because it was a serious contender for a spot on my driveway. It's a good looking car that's often been touted as one of the best hot hatches on the market.
After seeing the Abarth stand at the Autosport Show, sitting in a 595 and generally dribbling over all the pretty cars, I knew that I had to have one. This came from months of agonising over Audi, Abarth, Vauxhall, VW and on and on. But actually meeting all those cars at the Autosport Show made me realise that it’s the Abarth for me.
